Red Garnet is a semi-precious stone, blood red to deep red in colour. Garnet translates to seed in Latin, referring to it's resemblance to pomegranate seeds.
Pyrope Garnet is one of the five types of Garnet specimens. It has the richest, most vibrant red colour naturally; without treatment.
Garnet takes millions of years to form through high pressure and heat, usually found in metamorphic rock. It is a silicate comprised of calcium and iron.
