Kabamba Jasper is a striking gemstone in a khaki-green colour and lots of unique black orbicular banding, spots and patterns. 

 

This crystal is not actually Jasper, but a type of Ryolite. It is millions of years old and is formed from sedimentary deposits in ancient ocean beds.

 

The patterns are a result of sedimentation, fossilization and mineralisation processes over millions of years.
