Pyrite is a gorgeous, shiny crystal with an incredible brassy silver metallic and pale gold luster.
It's often referred to as Fool's Gold due it's resemblance to gold. Ironically, Pyrite actually can contain tiny traces of gold.
Pyrite is mainly formed from iron reacting with sulfide.
The sulfide occurs through a combination of bacteria and water, making the formation of Pyrite, a microbiological process.
